Can my Scottish Compatriots Advise? Winter Tyre query

I have a GTS4s Cab, I would like to take advantage of the oversupply of winter tyres or be able to help someone shift a good redundant set. With this in mind could the guys advise me whether I could fit 295 diameter rears on the standard centre lock alloys currently carrying 305 diameter tyres as spec'd with the car. It is difficult to locate good centre lock alternatives for winter and I would like to do an October transfer, I will require to use some less travelled routes this winter as part of my business expansion.

Yes, 295/30/R20 are the official winter tyre size for your car... look at the tyre spec here:

I think they are 19" rims on the 997.....[]

Still 295 is the winter width if you RTFA
