Can Tyre Pressure Monitor be Retro Fitted ?

Does anyone have any experience of this ?

Does it use the ABS system to measure changes in each tyre - wonder how much in there already and how much extra hardware is needed ?

A costly exercise. You will need the full kit which means the TPMS on each wheel rim, sensors mounted in each wheel arch and the neccessary loom to the ECU. You can't exclude the OPC because you will need their hardware to configure the system. I can't recall the manufacturer of the system, but they have a deidcated website to the product and may provide further info but its certaily a costly option via the OPC route. Hopefuly, someone may come along and lend a hand.

I feared as much.

Will try to get a quote from OPC when the car goes in for a service (Sep-07 ish).
