CANCELLED! Blyton Park Novice Track Day - 26 Sept

Due to the success of our last event and demand for a further "Northern area" event, we have managed to secure the circuit to run another event on Fri 26 Sept 2014. PCGB Motorsport have sanctioned the event, more details to follow shortly! The cost for this event will remain the same as our previous day at:
£100/driver full day - £70 half day (PCGB Members)
£120 full day and £85 half day (Non-members)[:)]

R4 have managed to secure sponsorship for this event from Rennspeed Porsche Specialists, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

Brilliant, well done for organising another event at this circuit – looking forward to it already. Presumably you will circulate a booking e-mail in due course. Thanks, Mick

I am interested in the Blyton Park induction day how can I get more details and an application form?

I will be in China for most of August, I will have all the entry forms prepared this week and sent out to those who requested them. Therefore we need to get as many requests for entries processed before I go, please do not wait too long. We will be running sessions for novices and more open pit sessions for experienced drivers. Instructors will be on site and are free to those who need/want them; limited numbers so get in early. Those that came in May, expect to get even more track time for the same price. As yet we have not got an event sponsor, this will dictate the amount of instructors we use. Damien, got your e-mail thanks, will reply soon.

Hi Great news that you are running another Blyton Park Novice Track day. I had a brilliant time at the last one in May. I would love to do this one too but sadly would not be able to get there in the mooring; is it possible to do a half day in the afternoon?

I have only received 3 entries and 5 enquiries about Blyton Park on 26 Sept. Unless we get some serious interest in the next 4 weeks, we will have to cancel the day as we will not have the funds to meet the commitment. I will be in China until 21 August, please contact Richard R4 RO for entry forms. I will pick up on my return!

Thats a real shame Gavin. I am still trying to work out if I can get there it time for the afternoon session. Would it be an idea to post the original post in the R7 section? maybe some more folks will come across from Yorkshire?

Simon, I have replied and sent an entry form from China, how is that for service! You will be pleased to know I didn't send it in Mandarin.

Noobie to the forum but not to Porches RCS (boxa.net member) pointed me in this direction. Would it be ok to be included in this please [:)]

Loved the last one and look forward to returning before long but I've spent all my track-day funds for this year. I hope you get the numbers you need, its a good track for any Porsche and any level of driver experience and a very friendly, well run event to boot.

I am on my way home from China, to date we only have 13 interested parties/entries, we need a minimum of 26 entries to cover our costs. Richard and I will have a meeting next week, if no further interest has been generated; we will have to cancel this event. Such a shame, a Northern area Track Day for £100 including free instruction (if required). This is the same apathy that removed Cadwell Park from the PCGB Calendar, we organised a second Blyton this year by request; please support this event and send for an entry form today! This event is open to all PCGB members and guests (Porsche only) and is certainly not restricted to R4.

Unfortunately Gavin, I'm on holiday on the 26th so I'm unable to join you this time. Hope you get the necessary support for the event - a great experience for novices and skilled drivers alike. Jeff
