'I had not realised how much sap falls from a weeping willow' Des murmered to himself but because of his fondness for green cars he wasn't too bothered. Reaching for the ignition key he realised he couldn't actually see out of the windscreen, undaunted he flicked the wipers on. Nothing. 'Damn', he thought, 'flat battery, serves me right for not using the car for six months'.
