[:D]Good news.
After a few weeks, "Bull MCabe", the 89 944 S2 Cab. is back on the road.
I thought I'ld take things easy as it was not driven in a few weeks.
Then was doing 50mph on Baggot Street. Whoops !
Paint job is like new. Bodywork without a dent, all fixtures solid.
Alot of bodywork completed at little or no extra cost. (2500 for the whole job)
New windscreen bought as fitted for 400 euro extra.
I must find out how to post pictures here (I'm sure there is a thread about it).
Then I'll put "the Bull" up there.
Fitzwilliam garage and "the windscreen hospital" are the guys and if anyone needs bodywork done then they offer a good deal.
We did have our argument about the windshield but he was professional and came to an agreement.
After dirving an automatic rover 400 for a few weeks I am ready to drive again.

What colour has "Bull MCabe" ended up Kevin? I work on Pembroke Road so can't be far away from you if you were flying down Baggot Street.

Will have to keep an eye out for a gleaming 944 cab.

It's a goldy silvery color and black roof.
I get the train to work so it's only on special days I can take the Bull.
Will attempt to get a picture up as soon as I can focus.
Friend had baby yesterday so our with the father last night to give him night out. Can't move now.

Thanks.
I have spend all morning gettng the size down from 1.3meg to 60ish kb.
Done now, and picture posted.
It's not as sharp as the original picture but you get the drift.
My wife was well impressed with the result.
I'm sure it will have added value, not that I plan to sell it.
