Car back after some maintenance and wow

Been riding round in my mothers 1.25 16V Fiesta - great on fuel but utterly boring and has no soul. Got my 996TT back today after some work by my mechanic Martin and wow it feels good to be back in. Main problem of using as a daily driver is that it becomes normal, I'm going to start borrowing the Fiesta more often...

On top of that my mechanic has fixed some bits for me so she is running back at her best, I was losing some boost and I think it played havoc with the way it was running, feels much much more smoother now whether trickling about or hammering full throttle.

Complained to Martin that I felt the car tramlining more and more and was advised to check the tyre pressures, they were down low, 25PSI on front and 30PSI on rear. Filled them to about 36/44 and the ride has increased ten fold. I seriously thought I had a component failing somewhere as it had got so bad. Hardly any tramlining now and handling much better for it even if I am running on none OEM 19s. Why I didnt think to check pressures is beyond me tho...

I had been a little concerned that this car may have a couple of issues with it prior to sending it in but having just driven it for an hour or so I'm pretty confident that she is back in great shape. I'm an idiot for not sorting out sooner but life gets in the way and if your still getting from A to B then there isn;t the pressure to fix!!

All in all happy and a reminder that it's worth checking tyre pressures every so often!!
