Car details/history from Porsche

Hi All,

Has anyone tried to get info from Porsche about their car? I was hoping to find out more about my 930, like where first supplied, which options were fitted etc.
 
I got some info for £80 , to be honest i felt ripped off as i was hoping for a
lot more and only got the very basics. you can look most of the codes on your sticker (handbook or
under the hood ) at www.kindel.com
 
thanks jonny - where did you go for your GBP80 info?

the bonnet sticker is not there any more and i don't have any original paperwork for the car! so i don't even know which codes were fitted!

all i know so far from the VIN is that it was built in 1977 and is a turbo 3.0/japan coupe - i got that from here http://www.mindspring.com/~blained/vintage.html
 
let me know the chassis number and i may be able to get you some free info !
porsche GB at reading (customer services) is where i would not recommend you spend good money !
 
Sorry but i cant get anything on that number , you will probably have to see what customer services at Reading can offer.
You could ask your local OPC , sometimes they can get something.
