Sounds like its reverted to each OPC to decide what they charge, in which case its time to shop around if you know you need additional items during a visit.

Hi
Done 52000 miles and going by the service history, first time they have been changed.
That's extraordinarily good service; can't really complain too much if that's the case.

I would imagine the OPC parts list would run to the following for the front axle:
4x brake disc fixing screws
4x caliper fixing bolts
2x brake pad retaining pin kits
4x anti squeal shims
2x pad wear sensors
1x front brake pad set
2x brake disc
Assembly paste
Then there are the usual sundries and disposal costs.
In reality many of the parts can be re used and I'd wager in some garages are !

£480 for the service £120 to remove to parking dents and polish out the scratches (their guy did an amazing job really chuffed) and £54 for new wipers £654 in total.
Offical body shop quoted for a 2 inch stone chip on the front edge of the nearside wheel arch just behind the plastic wing protection.....wait for it......£970!!!!!! Apparently they have to remove the rear quarter light and paint the entire rear side of the car including the sill...ouch. They also quoted for the rear bumper as I'd reversed into a wall at low speed thankfully it just needs painting and not replacing thats £700.
So I'll get the rear bumper done and get them to touch up the stone chip (they will do that for £60) and then save my pennies for the full respray!
She'll be beautiful when fully back to health! []
Interesting thing is that when I went to get the antisqueal shims for the brakes, I asked the OPC parts department if I need new caliper bolts or disc fixing screws, the parts manager said that those are not parts they stock as they are not frequently replaced - which is contrary to what the workshop manual says. Go figure. Of course I re-used mine.ORIGINAL: berty987
Sounds like the OPC will be clawing back the costs of offering a 3 year warranty very quickly. Nicely tucked up all new owners into a 3 year waranty with exclusions to claims if the car doesn't have a full OPC service history and original porsche parts, I suspect it also mandates that advisorys are also carried out. The only way i can see to beat the dealerships is to have the car inspected before an OPC service and rectified by an independent , using original porsche parts. You save on the labour costs but thats about all, unless you fancy doing the work yourself. I don't see there being any benefit from having simple mechanical parts replaced at an OPC at a premium rate , a local indie or even yourself is more than capable of doing the work with no detrement in safety or reliability , particularly on newer cars.
