CAR HISTORY?

New member
I presently own a Guards red 964 C4 and would like to know if one of the forum users has any previous knowledge of this car? The registration was C4GBH and now G345UAL. I would like to hear from any body who has owned this car in the past? I have found some evidence that the previous owner was a member of PCGB? At the moment it is going very well, I am well and truly hooked on the 964!!!! [:)]

Regards Michael..

Michael,

I do have details of a previous owner in Sheffield on record but the restrictions of the Data Protection Act prevent me from making them known to you.

One thing I would recommend is that you write to the DVLA addressed to the "Fee Paid Enquiries Section" enclosing their £5 fee together with a letter detailing the reasons why you want the information and you will likely be surprised with what you get. I did exactly this for my car and got back all the previous owners details, changes in registration number etc.

If you are a PCGB member I would appreciate details of your membership number and address/phone numbers etc. - and I'm also short of the engine number for your car!! E-mail me directly at 964@porscheclubgb.com.

Regards

Dave

Edited to correct e-mail address.

Many thanks for your information. I will send you more information to your email. At this time I am not a member but would like to join shortly.

Regards Michael..

Dave, is that e-mail address correct? Did you mean porscheclubgb.com? Although, porscheclubuk.com does indeed exist (when I tried it to see what's there)! [:D]

Yup, you're right. Classic senior moment there!!! It is, of course, 964@porscheclubgb.com!!! Sorry!!

I'll edit my original post just to avoid confusion.
