CAR INSPECTION WANTED

Pal of mine buying a VX220 Turbo in the Glasgow area (private sale) -AA won't do inspection coz it's a High Performance Car -know anybody who does approved car inspections in the area?
 
Your Pal could try VOSA they have a testing and inspection area in Bishopbriggs I guess for a price they will look over the car to MOT standard

The other think you could try is contacting a Approved Vauxhall Dealer to see if they do a pre inspection they must do some form of check in order to give a warranty on a used car.Also get him to look in Yellow pages for independants who deal in Vauxhalls or Google and see what comes up I could not personaly recommend any one

I have a contact within a Vauxhall Dealership in Motherwell and they are checking for a price for an inpection, I will get back to you when I have a price

Thanx -he has already spoken to a Vauxhall dealer and all they could offer was to book it in for a service!!!

BTW, he has tried to get thru to RAC and in the end just let the phone ring for thirty mins....when he got thru they couldn't give him a definitive answer or date!![8|]
