Don't forget it's our carpark concours tomorrow at The Deanwater.

You've had loads of nice weather to clean your car. So no excuses.[:D]

Will be a good opportunity to get some pictures of the cars.

See you there!

Maybe I should award a prize for the least polished......... Oh I can't award myself prizes![:D]

See you tonight.

Nicola, very sorry but, it dosn't look like we are going to make this tonight. Larrys new job is taking going really well, which means his having to work late most evening.[&o]

Helen

It was a shame you couldn't make it. Maybe another time?

We had a superb turnout with 35 Porsche cars and several BMWs............. (you know who you are!)

The fine weather I ordered turned up and it was a very enjoyable evening. I'll post some pictures later.

Nic

Good to meet a few of you, we had to leave early on as my wife didn't feel too well. Looks like a great turnout... 993RS [8D]... We hope to be at Tatton Park and if I can convince Julie to drive the 924S, we'll have both cars there.

How many concours events does this region have [:D]
What's the regional concours event at Tatton Park advertised in PP this month ?

Hi Tony

We traditionally hold 2 concours events, one at club night which is our "fun" car park concours and our "proper" concours event which is being held at Tatton Park 4th September.

This is a joint event with the BMW Car Club. This promises to be a fantastic day, as well as various car displays including race cars from Ninemeister and new cars from OPC Wilmslow, there will of course be our concours competition, various trade stands, a fun fair and food outlets. Entrance to the show ground is only £2.00 per person with under 14's free (normal park entry charges apply). There will indeed be something for all the family and the event is NOT to be missed.

If you would like to enter the concours, please complete the form in Junes PP.

hi nicola, are your concours, proper, do you split the visitors cars into groups, ie: air cooled pre 89 and so on, or are all the visitors in one class/group, with no regard to model,age,air/water cooled?.
please reply as we,wife and i may well come up for the day or the wekend, we are from kent/london border.
we did go to chatsworth concours a few weeks ago and although had a great day the concours was, in my opinion not split up enough.

many thanks

steve

Hi Steve

Our concours is split into
1. Air cooled

2. Water cooled

3. 1996 onwards (Boxster, Cayenne and 996)

4. Visitor class

With prizes for 1st and 2nd in each class and a trophy for the best overall region 5 car. The visitors are all in one class though.
the concours is run to the Clubs street concours rules.

Nicola

Nicola,

Cheers Dan (Used to have the Rosewood SC in Cheadle Hulme)
