Does anyone have a Car seat in the rear of their 944?
I have a Six year old...although this will be a second car..He'll want to "Play in it"
Obviosly one would need to find a suitable seat first!
Help appreciated..(Again!)

I've found that none of the major manufacturers have a suitable seat - well none that have specifically been tested in a 944. Brittax have a few that are now discontinued which crop up on ebay now and again, but how these compare to current crash test standards i'm not sure, also buying baby seats 2nd hand is never the best idea as you don't know its history and therefore any potential damage. I've resigned myself to getting a seat for the front passenger seat and have tried a few for size with no success so far. The problem is that the buckle is on a very long lenght of cable which means you can't fully tension the belt or it kinks the belts at a funny angle which is not acceptable according to the instructions. Also the bases of 80% of the seats out there are too wide for the front bucket seats.

I rang the OPC about their current seats and again they have not been tested in 944's but the chap invited me to try one out for size - however the £440 price tag is a bit steep!

So it seems we might be struggling.
