Car stalled without warning on the drive tonight

Got home tonight. Reversed the car down the drive, went to open the garage door and the car stalled ?

Got back in started it (Clattered a bit) but started and all seemed fine. Reved it a few times and all sounds normal.

This hasn't ever happened to me in the 4 years I've had the car. 28K on the clock

Any ideas to why this has happened ? Will keep my eye on it over the next few day
