Anyone know of a cheap car transporter? I bought my Porsche in Cardiff and need to get it home to Warwickshire. I can't drive it as it has no MOT or tax.
I've been quoted 144.00 + vat.
Thanx

How risky is that?

John,

It's not risky at all. As long as you have a pre-booked appoointment for the MOT you are legally allowed to drive the car directly to the MOT station. I don't believe there is any stipulation regarding thr distance you are allowed to drive it.

Regards

Dave

Sorry Mel, forgot you've got to pay for the operation!
Are you going to be okay for Oulton Park next weekend, if not, just bring Cuppie up and I'll drive it round the track for you. (whats that funny looking pedal over on the left, must be the dip switch)[:)]
Cheers,

Make sure a Welsh MOT is valid in England![;)]
Now ducking below the parapet, "Hello D.N., fancy seeing you here."
Cheers,

I discovered afterwarsds that you have to take the car to the nearest appropriate MOT testing station, sorry for misleading anyone.[:)]
