Has anyone had any experience of having their car wrapped? I was thinking about having mine done and thought I've never seen a car that's been wrapped.........Then again maybe I have, are they good enough to not look any different to paint other than a matt finish?

Hi Gazzy,

I have not had a wrap done but if you are interested, and live near Sunninghill in Berkshire, Alexander David have a 996 on their forcourt wrapped in matt black, it's certainly different.
Look them up on the web, I think it's going for £16k

Dodgy

A lad over here in Ireland has 'wrapped' his 986 and it looks fantastic. There's a thread running on the Porsche Club Ireland about it and some Q and A's. Might be worth having a look?

Baz.

Hi,

Darren Nash on 01702 410 470 site is www.planet-leasing.com they don't have wrapping on the site but my wife knows this guy and he has done some great work over Essex.

If you mention my wifes company BalloonBaboon and you may get a special rate.

I'm not a great fan if this is anything to go by [:D]

I've heard wraps only have a lifetime of a few years and can wreck the paint when removed - even if looked after correctly!

For the cost, I would rather have some new paintwork.
