Hi all

As title has any one had any experience with one,i have a drilled airbox with a green cotton panel filter at the mo.The air box is broken and is held together with a bungee cord ( i know i know [:(] ) and wondered if this would have a gain over what i have at the moment.

Thank you

Ian

What's the cost? I'm in a similar position in that the side of mine has been completely cut away just because a previous owner wanted a bit more noise. Personally I think this sort of practice is a bit tragic[>:]

Ideally I'd like to replace the air box and it looks like I'm going to have to resort to buying a new one through my OPC!

I have a mint drilled and powdercoated airbox off a 965.Not sure if it is same dimensions, but may be willing to sell..

Ian, that arrangement looks like there might be issues with it fowling the air conditioning compressor belt on my car[]

Jonnyboy, I would be tempted but after looking at the air box diagrams on PET the airbox for the turbo (930 part number) looks like it is completely different from the standard 964 box.

Hi All

Should`nt the flexy hose be cut to a suitable length? rather than possibly fouling the fan or air con.
Have fun

Paul Kelley

If you get one ,can you let us know what you think?

They do say it won't fit with a air con unit.

As for the pipes i think you place them in such a way to suck cold air in as opposed to the hot air in the engine compartment that the standard air box sucks and this is what gives the extrea power ( or not ) who knows ............ANYONE ???
