Hi and help
I've purchased a pair of carbon fibre sill scuff guards ( not the illuminated ones ) when I asked the OPC how easy they were to fit the reply was you just pull the old ones off, clean the adhesive off and stick the new ones in there place.

Is it that easy ?, I've given the existing ones a little tug but they seem stuck pretty hard, also these new ones are a lot longer and go partway up the door jamb.

Does anyone know of any instructions on the web etc, I've Googled but found very little.

I've posted this in the 997 area but I presume no difference in fitting for 996.

It is supposed to be as easy as they told you:

All done, found it hard to pull the first one off, used hair dryer to warm the adhesive up then used plastic tyre levers to give it a start, had to wear thin gloves as I just couldn't get enough grip with my bare hands.
OPC wanted £99 plus VAT to fit them, it took me an hour .
