Thought i would share this with anyone who is needing to repair their cargo cover.
I took mine apart as it wasnt retracting and followed the guide off clarks garage however i made a small change to mine as it still wasnt working properly.
When i took the shaft out that contains the spring i found that the spring had broken on the top and also the small loop on the bottom of the spring that loops around the small peg that goes through the shaft had also become unlooped.
After fixing the top part of the spring back into position and relooping the bottom part around the peg i put it back together and rewound it only to find that it still wasnt working.
I took it apart again and found that the bottom loop had come off again. Fixed it back together rewound it and the same happened again.
I decided to drill the small peg out the bottom of the shaft to leave a hole and also cut around 2inches of the spring off the bottom and made an 'L' shape and fed that through the hole where the peg used to be and wrapped the wire around that tightly. Then i wound it back around 18-20 turns though the clarks garage advises turn about 15 turns.
Put it back together and bobs your uncle, works perfectly and retracts much better now. Hope this helps anyone who is doing the same job.
