Cargo Net

Some friends who have the 981 have had no cargo net provided with their cars when new and so were looking for a suitable item, the rings are fitted in the car but no net, for those also seeking a suitable item I have been told that the R56 Mini Cooper has an almost identical cargo net which is often to be found on eBay for far less than the price charged at the Porsche OPC, just search on eBay under R56 Cargo Net. Just be aware that the Mini also used some triangular nets as well as the rectangular but if you want the genuine Porsche item they can be found on eBay at a higher price.

I've got a new unused Cayman Cargo Net, less than 2 yrs old. If anyone wants it PM me with a reasonable offer, they cost £35 from the OPC.

If anyone has the metal cage and no lower brackets ( they often stay on the cars when sold on ) then I can email them the dimensions to make up their own lower mounts from a mouldable plastic strip, quite easy to do and I have one pair I made for myself, they worked as well as the OEM part but not made to the same dimensions or quality.
