Carmon Red

Since buying my Boxster 987 in Carmon red I have only see 1 other boxster in that colour (a 986). Does anybody else out there have a Carmon red boxster ?

I know there is at least one more in existence because I saw one awaiting delivery at Silverstone OPC.

There is a Carmon Red 2.7 987 in my client's car park. Looks lovely - really unusual. There is also a Seal 987 S in pretty much the same spec as mine, a lovely 944 Turbo, a 928 S4 (I think - wider rear lights...) and a 997 C4S. This is in Farnborough.

So why does nobody buy it then ?

It's usually deemed nice on a car if you are eligible for a bus pass. So is Arena Red.

(That's what Nic told me anyway!) [8D]

When I first saw my 986 advertised (Arena red with savannah hide) I knew I had to have it! My friends however either loved it or hated it. Most Arena red 996s or Boxsters are discounted as they are a really unpopular colour. People love boring silvers and blacks (not me!) Then add to that the unpopularity of Savannah, which is almost as unloved as Arena red.

At the end of the day, it's what you like that counts, and I loved Arena red, and think Carmon is even nicer![:)]

I passed one tonight on the way home - either that or an Arena Red. [:D]

Didn't get any more than a blank look in response to my wave though! [&:]
