Hi All,

First I would like to say a huge thank you for all your comments, it really meant a lot to Dan and I. I know she would be massively embarrassed with all the attention.

Carol's funeral will be held at 14.00 on Thursday the 21st September at St. Stephens Church, Acomb York YO26 5LY.

Followed by refreshments in the Crooked Tap which is a 2 minute walk down the hill.

There will a private family internment prior to the service and it is hoped that the service will be a celebration of Carol's Life. To this end we would welcome you to dress however you feel comfortable.

We understand that friends and colleagues often like to send flowers, but in this instance we would prefer instead that you made a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in Carol's name (https://www.yorkshireaira...k/support-us/donate/). This is charity that we have supported for a number of years and who do excellent work.

Carol will be laid to rest in Rufforth Cemetery which is a lovely quite spot on the outskirts of the the village.

As ever, parking around a church can be difficult. There is a large but busy car park at Morrisons, on street parking in Danbury Drive and surrounding streets. Possibly a little along the bottom of the Green. All within a few minutes walk of St. Stephens.

For those of you that remember the great fun of the BBQ parking, then you are welcome to attempt to park in our street, again it's just a. 5 minute walk.

I am really sorry but I will be out of the country on 21st September so will be unable to attend, but my thoughts will be with you
Simon
