Evening all, anybody want to exchange boot carpets (or have one they don't want?).I have a linen space-saver version in fantastic condition, but would prefer a black one. Thanks, Ben.

can you explain in a bit more detail what you have, whats a linen space saver look like and is it black... i have a black boot carpet out of my s2 which is stored in my garage roof doing nothing, i havnt sold it because if i ever sell the car i want to put it back to its original condition...but if you have another original part which i could fit in its place if the time comes i could may be try and help you out.

Steve.

Linen is the colour, a very light beige.

The space saver style has a smaller hump for the space saver tyre to fit under. Earlier cars had a larger hump to fit a full size wheel underneath.

Ah Ha.. its all coming back to me now i have switch my brain on, Sorry Ben but my car is all black in side and out so linen wouldn't be any good.

Thanks anyway Steve.Oli, 2 reasons for wanting a black version...

1. I've taken out everything you can imagine behind the front seats (carpets, sound-proofing, tonnes of glue etc...) and shall be replacing the front seats with some lightweight buckets at some stage, and they will likely be black. So it should all match quite nicely.

2. I find that the linen carpet reflects onto the rear screen and, whilst it's not at all dangerous, it annoys me a little!
