My front mats are getting a little worn so i would like to replace them for some new ones, i only need the front ones, does anyone no of any suppliers of just front mats, if not does anyone no if the Boxster mats are the same as the 996, if i buy these i shall only get two instead of 4 seams abit tight but i don't see the point in having two for the rear i don't need.

Thanks Phil

I believe you can buy a set of two fronts from Porsche cant you? If not then as you say the Boxster/Cayman ones would be the same anyway...

986 only I think - the 987/997/Cayman have the pedals a little further away - so the mats are probably different to accomodate that small variation.

Boxster (986) and 996 mats should be the same. I would bet that the 996 "fronts only" are actually the Boxster ones [:D]

That is what i thought, and i guess they do not have anything writen on the apart from Porsche you would look silly with mats with boxster writen on them in a 911.

Thanks for that, OPC Boxster ones are the same price but you get 10% for being a club member so may as well go for those.

Thanks for the input.

I'm a newbie so didn't realise that PCGB members qualified for a 10% discount (guess I should read my welcome pack more thoroughly)...is that applicable at all OPCs, on all parts?

It does work at most OPC i know there are some in London who do not offer this, also a lot of OPC give 25% off labour on cars that are over 5 years old not sure if this applies to you as well? It all adds up.
