CarPlay

Have had car play set for ages, with a widget to the left of the Apple screen (typically set on Waze). Widget showed some smaller tiles for radio etc
Earlier this week the view changed to remove the widget, and now can see only the Apple window, with a section of text to the left

I also have a 992, and earlier this week the widget changed to one showing only climate controls, and no (that I can find) way to change

Did I do something silly, or has the CarPlay setup in PCM changed? I suspect a software change, but am always alert to the possibility that the problem is in the chair, not the car!

Thanks

Hi, I've had similar experiences with my 992, Macan (loan car) and recent new Cayenne PCM. My understanding is the latest PCM version has lost some of the 'tile' size/layout flexibility but gained 'inbuilt/embedded' CarPlay (alongside the usual CarPlay via your phone option). Whilst I preferred my original 992 and Macan versions, as they allowed both Porsche features to sit alongside Apple CarPlay features, I'm hoping that new releases of the inbuilt CarPlay will eventually allow much more personalisation of both the car controls (like aircon, lighting etc) as well as apple OS based apps like google maps and garage door openers etc.
