Hi Guys,
Posting here (SC) as we seem to have a hole on this website. There is a section for Pre-74 911s, 912s, 914s and 911SCs
Where do the IB cars of 74, 75, 76 & 77 fit in?

Are we bunched in with SCs? Just wondering as DDk seems to have similar sectioning
- any wonder they're called the 'Forgotten Porsches' ?
I find it weird as there is the Carrera2.7 & 3.0 Register on PCGB but why is it not here??

For those from IB forum i recognise - Hi guys!

Just a question as i didnt know where to say Hi!!

Other than that, Hello, Im buying, what you drinking??

AFAIK just because PCGB has a Carrera 2.7 & 3.0 Register there wont be a section on here unless someone applies to be Moderator for it. There wasnt a 356 or 928 section until not long ago. Pehaps you have a calling here [;)]

Feel free to come and post in the Early 911 section as your cars are basically the same as our later pre-impact cars other than the bumpers.

Ian.

According to the venerable Geoff Yves, the appropriate section for the carrera 3.o is "Classic and heritage".

My question was here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=117289&mpage=1&key=carrera%2C3%2E0%2Cforum𜫷

A lot of us lot are also on www.impactbumpers.com, as you probably have found out already, but there are some quality people involved with PCGB. With regards the carrera 2.7 and carrera 3.o, the classic and heritage forum can be a bit of a PCGB meeting place.

Best regards,

Bert

I agree with Alan if you feel there is a need for a seperate section and you can moderate or find a moderater contact the 'powers that be' and I imagine they could set it up quickly.

In answer to the question , my guess is that you could create a forum for those forgotten years. However the numbers would be very small and so a forum group would be hard work ! The smaller forums just don't get the numbers.....sadly. Remember the Carrera 3.0 was only produced for two years and actual cars remaining are few, members with them fewer and members on the forum fewer still. Very much the same to be said for the 2.7lux and 2.7 Carrera. You could even count in the ridiculously small number of 3.0 RS into that too. SC's on the other hand are in comparison plentyfull and thus have a thriving forum.
