You'll be hard pushed to find anyone with the correct 964 badge in BLACK - never mind red. They are not produced in red - so your only solution might be to paint it.
Bear in mind that many of the retailers offering the "Carrera" badge will sell the 993 part (Part no. 993.559.237.00) often citing models years 1989-1998 whereas the correct 964 part (Part no. 911.559.037.00) seems difficult to get (in black only). The two insignias are very different - the 964 part being substantially larger than the 993. If you get the wrong one, the "4" doesn't match.

The Porsche parts supply chain never ceases to amaze me - their ability to deliver quite obscure parts, often from stock in Reading, is incredible. It wouldn't surprise me if said insignia was available from the OPCs - and probably cheaper than many independants too perhaps!!! It just needs a phone call to an OPC for them to check the Reading stock.

Rob,
I might be able to source the badge in red, but it would be in vinyl...

My first thought Ollie!!!!
Perhaps I should've said I want this for the rear shelf. I'm having the top and upper half of the rear shelf covered in carpet to cut down on glare in the rear screen and removing the rear seat backs.
I know you can have this embroidered on the carpet but wanted something different. i.e. a red carrera badge.
I don't really want to paint a black one so I may have a look at putting a hood crest there instead.
Unless a vinyl supplier can wrap a black one in red??!?!?[]
