Hi, am new to the community. Can anyone advise me about creating carrera rep out of a late 924S?
Best kit supplier?
Does the rear wheel arch have to be modified and cut?
I know that Pro-9 and EMC do kits. Any thoughts?
Huw.

Not sure on kit supplier , but you have to do major cut to rear wheel arch for wheel clearance. Will try to find some pics of my sons car when we converted it to show extent of mod

Many thanks Geoff, that's really kind. I had a feeling that might be the case.

Theres a good 'how to' guide on the internet, written by a Dutchman. 937 rear wings do require that you cut the rear arches quite substantially.

I cant find it on Google. I have the link saved somewhere but I have 000's over several computers.....

I can email you the .pdf though, if you need it.

Thanks very much for the tip. Will have a look for it. Suppose I have to balance cost of conversion against the option of buying 944 s2. Slightly confused!

There is a turbo requiring some tlc on ebay at present complete with kit fitted and Fuchs

Huw, let me have your email and I'll send you a picture of the arch with the extension removed,
mines in the paint shop for detailing at the moment.

Hi Mike, thanks for the post, very kind. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be simple ( or cheap).
My email address is david@dthomas15.wanadoo.co.uk

Mike: is that an original 937 wing which has had the PU extension removed? If so Id appreciate a look too, if I may.
