Carrera S & Fuel Economy

Whilst fuel economy was probably the last thing on my mind when I bought my 997, I did raise a smile when I managed to get 425 miles out of my last tank full of super unleaded (mostly A Roads and Motorways)

Not spectacular, but far better than the 275 miles that I'm used to (mostly around town)

What's the most miles you've squeezed out of a tank of fuel in a 997?

How?

14.8 mpg on my C4S tip round town.

I was delighted at 22 mpg on a run till i read your post!

Must be driving with the handbrake on!

Oh lord my car never does above 22mpg and that is being absolutely gentle as anything. Normally 15/16mpg across A/B roads but it is good fun [8D]

I managed 23.4mpg average over 2,300 miles at an average speed of 63mph for my jaunt around Europe earlier in the month
