Carrera vs Carrera4 Top Gear

Top Gear did a nice comparison of the C2 with the C4 around a track and found the C4 0.5s faster but the feel of the C2 was preferred. To me, the C4 in red was a C4S as it had quad exhaust outlets and one of the cars had PCCB - did anyone else see it?
 
I had asked James May the same question when I was at the filming as in the studio they had the C2S but a C4 and he did confirm that both cars used by Stig were non-Ses they just couldn't get both in silver for the studio. Good observation about the PCCB though, as I have it on Sky+ and the Red C4 definitely has PCCB where as the C2 doesn't (hard to find a close-up shot but at one point you can see the black calipers)...
 
I saw this as well, Im quite interested in getting PCCB when Im finally asked to spec my carrera 2 coupe , im sure the standard black caliper brakes on the car are sufficient in every day driving conditions, but I like the fact that PCCB would give a greater stopping distance than a standard carrera( probably more noticable +100 mph) , I suppose the downside to PCCB on an 911 used as daily drive would be greater tyre ware and less miles between brake pad changes, I suspect pads on these systems are mega expensive, let alone disc prices should one get scored. Does anyone know prices for pads /discs and average milage life of tires with PCCB fitted or if you can spec a non s with s braking system (i.e 996 tt system)

Just took delivery of my C4 which is not an S but had sports exhaust on it so got quad pipes.also got standard brakes but my calipers have a distinctive blue tinge to them they are definitely not black.In everyday day use of car standard brakes are more than adequate but if racing get PCCB.
Not had a go in C2 997 only my old c2 996 so not able to say which I prefer but am 110% happy with mine especially on some of the roads at the moment which I use as they are a bit slippy/muddy and the 4 wheel drive has come into its own you can feel it change drive ratio to front when you just start to lose it a bit.
Also had a drive at Milbrook which you get when you buy a car now, actually had day before I took delivery of car I wish I had got a quick go in a C2 as there were loads of different cars on the day but I stayed the same type I was getting.
Anyone can go on a porsche day costs around £500 - £600 you can get a feel for the cars and compare if you wish.So if you need some help deciding get a day booked and make a informed decision for yourself.
