Anybody done Castle Combe in an RS or Cup car?
Most of the club trackdays are 100db limit if this is static does any RS get through? I was on 102 at Oulton with both std silencers so I'm guessing its a non starter.

Hi Tony , I did Castle Combe twice in 2007 in 964RS , 24-03-07 with PCGB and 04-05-07 with Bookatrack.
Got on OK both times but dont know what was measured at and I dont have a record of what the noise limit was.

My car normally comes in at 101 but with clutch down , hot engine , giving 4400 NOT 4600 rpm ( for some reason I cant hold on 4500 [:D] ) I can get 100.

Went to CC last Monday ( 16-03-08) , definitely 100db limit and no second chances and got on with an early 911 - made 100 so on the limit - using a tailpipe diffuser that puts a bit more distance between engine compartment and mike - say 200mm. Reckon if you did something similar you would be OK - see my thread on DDK 911 forum.

Long way for you to go to be noise tested and not make it !

I squeeze in...........managed a 98db day at Goodwood last Friday though.....[;)]
