Original 964RS wanted for above -please contact Fred Hampton direct:

356@porscheclubgb.com

...and send him my best wishes....[;)]

come on guys i need a 964rs for the porsche classic stand next to a 4.0ltr,3.8 997 and a couple of 993rs.
Please confirm your attendance with me,so that i stop chasing for one.
We are hoping for the factory to support a all things rs in the future,so lets help get it off the ground with a 964 present also.

Well , I took mine there for Fred a couple of years ago and display parked next to a red 964RSR that was RHD....my car looked a bit grubby by comparison as it was a working car not a show car....I think Jason made some disparaging remarks about it ...[:D]

I'll be very very surprised if you don't get at least one of the polished variety to attend [;)]

OK, so who told Fred they were going and didn't ?

Whoever it was missed the most utterly fantastic day.

You should'a been there ... over 50 2.7RS in all the classic colours .... five or six 2.8 RSR generating thunder in our hearts .... amazing.

u offered him ur rs and he refused, explain plz. Is it real/an ugly colour/cloned ? Or perhaps it's ur mistakes at Combe last week and subsequent report, they were afraid of another 917 Impney drive

Edited by MS for spilling!!

I'm only joking and amusing my self one fingered typing due to having my good hand nandaged to the elbow and in a sling.
Dave

Haha like yer werk Dave!!

I offered the Cup years ago as a future classic and he suggested there may be some space in the car park....[]

However, if someone promised a car and was accepted and didn't turn up cant say I'm impressed....

Yes , looks like someone promised a 964RS and didn't deliver. Very surprised , had to explain to Jay Kay that I was not in the black one he saw me in a couple of years back in High St Ken , not that he was bothered !

Weather was good , would not have spoilt any polish jobs , and got Vic Elfords signature in the 911E handbook although he couldn't remember driving it.......

Sat next to Tony Carey at dinner , so well worth the visit . As Chris says , probably the largest number of real 2.7RSs in one place , well done Fred Hampton [:D]

In blessed Nigeria if you not honor you side of the bargin dat expekted but you Hinglish always honrable! So who promiss da porker and not deliver da bacon?

Odabo my feinds!

Hope yr nandaged hand gets better Dave![;)]

And to our honoured Guest Ben Haribo..... What, in your country, would be a suitable punishment for a no show....

BTW, chaps....964RS's justifiable posts have not been deleted by me.....

I in fact reinstated some with a light bit of editing and they have been deleted again.....somebody is playing games... AND I DON'T LIKE IT[] A polite e-mail would suffice. This is a forum after all and in my book (almost) anything goes...

great event, shame no 964 turned up.
Next rs event will probably be at silverstone on track, all things rs supported by Porsche klassic etc we hope ,may be some 964 willl turn up for it if invited!!

Aha! On track....now you're talking...,the natural habitat of the 964RS, not just sitting polished in a field....[:)]

Sounds interesting......

It's a shame no 964RSs went. I got the impression early on in the year on this forum that later cars weren't really the thing for Castle Hedingham.

Unfortunately I'd already made plans so couldn't agree to be there when Paul H made his effort a couple of weeks ago to get RSs of all ages to attend.

How about a special effort to get a proper 964RS display together to celebrate grandad RS's 40 years at the Silverstone event. International attendance from 964rsdatabase Martin?

Sounds good to me. I've got contact emails for nearly 300 owners so as soon as we get some dates i'll send out a mailshot and post it on the Facebook group. [8|]
