Hello all!

Have any of you ever used Castrol Edge oil? If so, which of the versions of it have you used (which grade 0-40, 5-40, etc) I currently use Castrol Magnatec in my 2003 996 C2. It seems fine but I've got my service this month and my indy (CMD, Bridgend) has said that he's started using this stuff (But he's also said that he'll use whatever I want him to) It's either this or Spry - Crisp and Dry.

I'm using it in my GT3 - JZMachtech recommend 10-60 for trackday GT3's so that's what I've gone with. 10-60 is probably a bit thick for a normal road-going 996, so I'd be inclined to go for 5-40. I used that weight in my C4 & it was very happy with it.
