Could be out mid-2014.

Porsche will want to keep the Cayenne ahead of the game, with the new RR and RRS hitting the headlines.

They already did that - it's called the Cayenne S Diesel! [:D]

RR's may be a bit more luxurious, comfortable on the road and off-road capable - but they don't drive nearly half as well. So if you like driving then there really is only one super SUV out there worth buying right now.

I can't see the facelift of the S Diesel being any better than the current one (perhaps a couple of BHP more - certainly wont be more torque!). There is rumor that the V8 will be dropped in the S Diesel, so get them whilst they're hot!

if thats the case then yours will be a very expensive collectors item then Alex?[:D]

almost depreciation proof ??

It's depreciation proof right now. I could sell mine for 10-15k more than I paid for it due to the 9 months wait list.

May change when the Macan comes out - reducing demand for the Cayenne...

I was talking longer term after the artificial early waiting time depreciation goes
