Cayenne Loan Car

I had my 997 in last week for repairs and was given a current shape cayenne with the 3.6 V6 as a loan car. I have to say I really enjoyed driving it for the week. I have never liked them in the past but the mental nature of the car became more attractive the longer I had the car[:D][:D]. The handling and power delivery were simply stunning. I found people dispersed in all directions when I was driving it. I named it the 'urban assualt vehicle'. It found they drive much better than Land Rovers such as the sport and range rover. In fact if I was back home in Oz I would buy one and tow a boat with it. The only draw back here is the lack of space. Even the fuel economy was good! Even only I had enough cash to have the 997 and a Cayenne![;)]

I was pretty astonished on how good the KN is !
They lent met one when mine was in for the door handle issue..
Just made it a bit better that they were paying for the fuel though[;)]

yes they paid for my fuel too Gary[;)] I was amazed to receive my car back stll grubby from the fowl weather when I delivered it 5 days ago though!

Now that is bad service... its usually harder to try and stop them valeting it..!
As you said in the other post, take the business elsewhere....

Common thread here - yes I had a V6 KN when mine went in - but the low fuel light was on when I picked it up [], so had to bung £40 worth of fuel in straight away. Ended up returning it with more fuel than I'd collected it with! B..ger.... bad planning there! []
Must admit really enjoyed hacking around in it, and the kids loved it. Found the V6 surprisingly good especially in Sport mode - just a bit thrashy though. Went on the Porsche configurator and ended up at about £60K. - equiv X5 (diesel version though) some £15K cheaper.
6 months to decide on the next daily runner.

I had an old shape KN V6 from new (March 06) for a year. Really enjoyed the car however decided to part-exchange it for a new 997 C2S when our first baby was born - more sutable family car.

exactly Jamie. We have a 7 week old pet human and she fits nicely in the back of the 997...a true family car[;)] Whereas my Boxster just wasn't a family car[;)] These things have to be done[:D]
