Hey there - looking for any/all opinions on this!!
I’d been on the market for a 981 cayman for the last 6 months or so but hadn’t quite found "the one”. In the time I’ve been looking my home situation has changed and I’m now going to have to do a nursery run for 2 rather than 1 - so only two seats is a no go. This hasn’t stopped me wanting to purchase something from the Porsche marque so I am now looking at Cayennes having looked originally at Panameras but thinking I may not really get what I want for my budget. I’m looking at spending around £30-35k (though this will be via PCP with a £5-7.5k deposit and hoping for £350ish a month). I’m not in a huge rush - i have sold my precious car (a F10 5 series) and just tootle round in a £1200 Mini Cooper at moment which is my interim until I find what I want. Now to my question (apologies for the waffle/background) - with Porsche scrapping diesel does anyone have any inkling what might happen to prices? I don’t want to rush into anything yet at same time don’t want to be still looking in 6 months to find that prices have increased as people are holding onto diesels knowing they can’t get a new one - or could it be prices come crashing?! Appreciate this could be total guesswork as to what may happen given everything else in the world going on right now but any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
