nice to see somthing mentioned on cayenne even it is a recall mention.why no cayenne forum? i@new!

If you could specify which "Newswires" it might be helpful?

The dealers at this time have not heard of anything - you sure it is not a USA only thing?

I just heard on BBC NEWS RADIO thay Cayennes had been recalled
by VW/Porsche.
Does anyone have the detail ?

There's a recall checker on the Porsche web site here using your VIN.

Just entered our 2014 Diesel, and its saying 'no open recalls', so we'll see. May be a bit soon yet, but I'll make a note and query with the OPC if nothing in a couple of weeks.

In advance of May Porsche Post ....
If you are the first owner of Cayenne with registered years 2011 until current 2016 , you should be contacted by Porsche UK to advise on recall venue.
Book in at appropriate Porsche Centre ( or contact nearest one to your residential address ) for recall action
Should you be a subsequent owner [ second, third owner et seq ]- it is "hoped " that you may be informed via the vendor as first owner. - ( pigs might ... springs to mind !) Therefore I suggest it is more prudent to take action yourself and directly involve your local Porsche Centre to join their program of rectification. The procedure , I understand, involves a pedal bracket only and is not time consuming. The recall covers all models I am lead to believe.
Hope this helps

Nice to see an email from our Cayenne register secretary informing folk about this as well as the Porsche Post outreach :)
Also got my Porsche Cars GB letter yesterday, will be booking in soon
