In real life situation what can you get around town
19 Mpg ? OR MORE
Hi, you're bang on. I had a Gen1 S for 60k miles and averaged 18.9mpg over the entire period, plenty of town driving as well as longer runs. My current Gen2 has now completed 65k miles and is humming along at 19.5mpg. Bonus!! The wonders of the DFI engine give about 1mpg extra....
You'll get slightly less if exclusively town driving and conversely up to 25mpg on a gentle run.
Hope that helps.

Around town I get 11 mpg to 13 mpg . That is in an S and by around town that's what I get in London. 13 mpg is the absolute best I can get taking things very easy. It goes into single figures if I'm in a hurry. So I try not to be!
I get pretty much the same. I've just picked up an S, and live in London. Average is 14mpg. If I drive very carefully on a good London run, I can get maybe around 17-18mpg. If, as most days, I get stuck in traffic, it will drop to around 12mpg. If I drive without caring about MPG, I don't think it would be a problem going into the single figures.

My Turbo does anywhere between 12-15 around town, overall returns 17.2, (can stretch to 21 on a long run) and this is since last October, and it does 40+ motorway miles every day...
But, fuel consumption aside, I absolutely love it!!
Yeah my Turbo S is the same.
