Cayenne S diesel Platinum Edition

i recently had the opportunity to drive a new Cayenne S Diesel Platinum. Almost everything about the car was fantastic. The performance is dramatic. I suspect that the 0 to 60 is quicker than my 2011 Boxster. However I could not live with this car for one single reason. The adaptive sports seats make it incredibly difficult to get in and out. The seat bolsters are incredibly hard compared with the standard seat. Because of the height of the car I found myself perched on this hard bolster when exiting and entering but the real problem was the alcantara seat centres which make it impossible to slide into the seat. I have never had this problem with other Cayennes that I have driven. Is it just me??

Hi There

I agree I have a 2014 Cayenne with standard seats full leather and recently had on load from the OPC a Macan fitted with similar seat
as you have described. I suffer low back problems and after only a couple of days had to get them to change me out to a BMW and then two visits to the
physiotherapist to get me back to normal. Don't know why this seems to be the trend but the high bolsters are a real issue!!
