After looking at the various pros and cons I have decided to order the new Hybrid. Seems like you get the best of both worlds and as it is a company car very tax efficient and saving me a big chunk against the buying price. Any views guys. Whilst I know this will not be every ones cup of tea seems to make good economic sense. Thought I would start a new thread regarding the Hybrid so as not to get lost in the V8 diesel post. Apparently the first one ordered from OPC Newcastle hope this is a good thing. No date given for delivery yet.

Let us know what you think of the Hybrid once you get it Greg, looks like the way to go considering London is thinking of banning diesel cars (not that such a ban would affect me) but taxing diesels out of existance would.

One of the current hybrids crept up on me recently in quiet mode - frightened the bejeepers out of me!!

If it works financially then why not Greg, and with the new model it will be interesting to hear how the running costs pans out for you in the real world, rather than believing the manufacturers flaky figures.
