Hi there all, new to the forum and soon to be new to porsche, however, there are a few questions that i would like some answers to if at all possible.
I have spent the best part of the last decade driving imported turbocharged japanese motors including skylines and supras, however, i am now reaching the age where i would like some refinement in my vehicle but not sacrificing speed. I also have 2 very large boxer dogs which at the moment are getting the reat seats of my current car covered in v.short dog hair. Those that have owned boxer dogs will know what i mean. I have a shortlist of only 3 cars at present because the 4th is not even in production yet. They are a RS6 or RS6+, X5 4.8 or cayenne turbo. The worry and i`ll have to be honest is the fuel consumption. I am aware of stories of people getting low teens and single figures but in the real world what figures are people getting for their turbos. What sort of range are they getting on full tanks and whats the cost to fill the tank. To give you a reference, i`m currently getting about 250-300km for £55 98RON. Thats fairly spirited. Just want real world figures. Cheers.
