Cayman arrived yesterday

A very happy lady became the owner of her first Cayman yesterday and I have to say I still can not stop smiling and looking at it. The Chester dealership where fantastic in every way from the moment we went to look at Porsche for the first time, to choosing the car and making sure when we picked the car up on Saturday it was a special experience. I was there
coincidentally (really) when it arrived on Monday off the transporter which was nice to watch and added to the excitement knowing it had actually arrived.

Lets hope I have many a mile of enjoyment for a long time to come.

Congratulations on your purchase. Tell me more about it, model, spec etc. I took ownership of my first Porsche last year and I was the same. My garage is accessed from the house and it was / is a joy to go out there and see it under the lights. Cecil

Glad to hear you've got it now Diggit, I've had 5 Porsches, all 2nd hand although the Cayman had only 2,200 miles on it and each time I'm far more excited than with any other car. What is the spec? Colours?

Congrats - I got mine from Porsche Chester - as you say, a very pleasant experience. I'll never forget paying for it on my Switch card though!

Thanks all for you kind words. The spec is 2.9 PDK, Basalt Black, a few add-ons, park assist, dimming mirrors, heated everything (yes including the steering wheel), cruise, rear wiper; no big boys toys just a few things to bring comfort a girl life. We are down a Silverton on the 1st August having our drive experience day and are hopeful that we will get back down there for the 50th anniversary in Sept but cam't make any promises yet. Diggit

I have the dimming mirrors, auto wipers, heated seats and park assist all of which add to the driving comfort and pleasure, I also did the Cayman Experience at Silverstone Porsche Experience Centre a good chance to see what they are capable of and really get the feel of it.
