Cayman cost?

I'm a little confused regarding the price for the Cayman S. The website suggests £43,133 yet the magazines and dealer tell me it's £43, 930.

The other discrepancy is the website says that the 'Porsche Driving Experience' is included in the price but my dealer will not confirm this (must be worth £400-500)

All this after I've paid a 10% deposit and specced the car.

What's going on? What price have any of you guys paid??

Are you buying from a Porsche dealer or a magazine? [&:]

JCB..

A dealer- but makes no odds as they are both quoting the same figures. When I say magazines I'm talking about road tests not adverts.

There is often some discrepancy caused by the importer having to add the cost of the UK spec to the car - top tint windscreen, leather steering wheel or whatever it is these days - could it be that?

I rang the OPC and asked for the extended driving day after I ordered my Boxster and the dealer duly obliged - I wasn't charged and I had to ask for it which implies that it wasn't included in the price (otherwise presumeably the dealer would have invited me?).

My point is that the price you pay comes from Porsche Cars not from a rag publishing a road test.

Forget the rag. In a nutshell the prices differ between:

1. The Official Porsche Website - £ 43,133 (full UK Spec inc top tint etc)
and
2. My OPC - £43,930. (excluding RFT and first registration)

Both are 'officially Porsche'

The rag just happens to concur with the OPC.

Then just quote the Porsche Website to your dealer!
