Any Gen 2 owners in the Manchester area??

Motordrive are looking for a car that they can fit a set of front mesh grills, then photograph for their brochure, preferably in the next few days or so...

If so and you are interested in having a set of fitted for free...then
phone Motordrive this week...tel 0161 724 5176...ask for Allan.

Either manual or PDK!

Thanks Alan for your post, and your attempted help.....But as Dyllan says.......Sometimes I really don't know why we bother making bits to help an obvious design flaw in all Porsches. I suppose that’s up to the individual, it seems ever so odd that we’ve sold over 100 sets of Cayman Gen1 to the States in the last 6 weeks, with a further 20 sets to Europe. And are now about to launch Cayman Gen2 fronts with Pre orders, along with Gen 1 rears and 997.1 fronts. Maybe they have different warranties over there, or maybe they just want to protect the expensive radiators, as the dealer would say when you take your car in with a damaged or rotten rad….it’s a consumable not covered in your warranty please give me £1000 + fitting.

ORIGINAL: Geoff997 Beware of Porsche warranty terms and conditions.
But it is a shame that Porsche have made this a consideration ... No renewable extended warranty for those who fit: 1. A non-porsche Porsche battery 2. Non-N rated tyres 3. Higher spec brake fluid Anybody care to correct this ?? Sorry, I forgot to mention that my GT3RS needed two new radiators due to the corrosion from damp leaves that had never been cleared out properly, and for which the above would most probably have been a pre-emptive cure ! Very neat [;)]

Allan, I have looked at your web site and see that they can be installed in Boxster 987 but do they fit a 987 Generation 2 Boxster? I bought my grills from the USA in 2002 because I could not see any from the UK.

Hi Iain, Not yet is the quick answer, but we are looking for a way round the protruding fins that are on the Boxster 987.2, the Carrera997.2 and the 977.1Turbo. When we have an answer we will get all these done, as we intend to try and cover the full range by early next year........allan
