Cayman Gen II Silverstone Demo

I have been invited to test drive the face lift Cayman with PDK on Monday 30th March 2009 at Silverstone Porsche Test Track.

I've got March 31st - tempted to upgrade mine after reading press reviews (especially LSD) but not sure if I'll like PDK. Should be interesting to see how Silverstone track compares to the awesome Milbrook.I wonder if they'll let us sneak in a Silverstone lap? [:)]

Hello, first post here. Did you all get an invite via your Porsche dealer? I'm not an owner yet but would like to be and this sounds like an ideal opportunity to try out the Gen II so just wondering how I could get an invite. Thanks

As I only got my new car last November, I suppose it would be cheeky to ask for an invitation? What do you think?

In answer to both the above, my invite came from my dealer - and I only bought a new car in September. I would have thought that if you've only just bought a new car they'd be even keener to talk you into a Gen II. Richard.

Thanks for this. Looks like a call to Reading might be in order [;)]

Hi I only got my Cayman S last September & I got a invite to test the vision 2 Cayman at Silverstone on 30th March at 10.00am, speak to your dealer where you got your Cayman. Yours Truly Kevin.

Kevin, Glad to see you have 10.30 on 30th March , please make sure you warm the tyres up for me. Martin.

Hi all, I'm going to this on the 1st April too, JohnH - your car looks exactly like mine too. Whats your time slot? Paul.
