This is my hypothesis.
As you may have seen elsewhere I am looking to buy a Cayman Tip. Before I can I have to buy the wife her 207 (next Saturday all being well) and then sell our current car (BMW 520d SE Auto 56 plate, 32k miles, £14k).
During my research to find out what I'll get for my budget I'm seeing the number of Cayman for sale on Pistonheads increasing almost daily, adverts which have been posted months ago where the car is still for sale, and for one that would fit my bill, the seller is reducing his price on a regular basis in an attempt to secure a sale.
Of course, it may not just be Cayman, or Porsche, it could be the market for high end sports cars as a whole.
Just thinking out loud.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
David
