I've had my CR now for a couple of months and very happy with it. Looking at DVLA site it *appears* that only 256 have been registered in the UK, so there is me thinking that seeing another Carrara White one in my area would be rare...... NOT! I've seen what looks like another one in same colour twice now [] I wonder if it's anyone on here?

Hi, Only joined PCGB this week with the intention of buying a Cayman R (preferably White or Peridot Green) Would be interesting to meet up or chat sometime, maybe I will join you at one of your club nights? I live outside Chester so have been put into NW region 5. I have had a test drive in one very similar to yours with PDK, thought it was great. Hope you enjoy yours. Cheers, Nigel R

Hi Nigel, look forward to meeting you. I go to R6 meets at St Asaph usually and would be happy to chat [8D] I'm loving the CR and will also be taking it to Oulton Pk on 23rd Oct for the Club track day there. I'm also thinking about doing the PCGB sprints and hill climbs next year.

I've only ever seen one other Cayman R on the road up here (Highlands of Scotland) and that was red with a red spoiler......saw it twice on the A96 earlier this week on my over to Aberdeen (and on the way back). Although the OPC in Aberdeen does have a white manual one up for sale. Having driven both the manual and the PDK I have to be honest (and to my surprise) I much preferred the PDK, hence why I bought one. Didn't know there were only 256 in the country! I can't see me parting with mine for some time, there's nothing I can find to compete with it in terms of set up (for me anyway). Hope you get one and good luck with your search. Cheers, Colin

Blimey Colin.... seeing another car up there is sometimes rare [:D] I do envy your clearer roads, even the M6 thins out after Penrith. I had the pleasure of the A7 a few months ago on my way to Berwick-upon-Tweed [8D]

Hopefully this will make you feel better as to the rarity of the Cayman R[:)] Some people do put the Spyder wheels along with the Aerokit Cayman on a standard car, so you may have seen a S in disguise[;)] http://www.parkplacetexas.com/web/vehicle_photos/955025/#07

Good call Cecil, that looks like it's been jacked up!! [:D]

Hi Andy, Thanks will meet up soon, I am away on hol next week so have pencilled in the Oulton track day on 23rd. If one of your meetings come up before that I will try to join your gang, otherwise def Oulton. I used to compete in sprints/hillclimbs but not in a Porsche, would be fun? Speak soon. Nigel

I have only seen another Peridot like mine when at the Silverstone Classic meet. I know of another one that OPC Chester had before I purchased mine. That is around the Chester area, but I have not seen it yet. We all should meet up one day for a run? A&G

Hi, I was at OPC Chester about 10 days ago looking at Caymans and a Peridot R was sitting outside awaiting a service? Was it yours? I live nr Chester so maybe another CR in area soon to join you and Andy. Which Region do you attend if any? I have been put in NWest but NWales is similar distance. Nigel R

ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan Yes I'd definitely be good for a meet and run [:)]
How about a dawn raid round the Evo Triangle area one Sunday morning? Meet at Chester services on the M56 around 830am? I can do alternate Sundays from this one. How about October 12th? Flat6 and I are overdue a repeat visit to the area.

Hi Nigel. I'm in R6 North Wales. I looked at a silver R at Chester OPC but it didn't tick the boxes on my list, I bought a carrara white one. Rob, you know me I'm up for it!! Oct 12th is good for me. Caymanwirral may be up for it too reading above, however I'd probably meet up further into Wales (Maybe Mold) as I'm already there :) PS: Oct 12th is a Saturday [;)]

Oops, Sunday 13th - we have a rather odd calendar in the kitchen! I normally go M56 and come off at the start of the A55 then head to Ruthin on the A494 and take the B5105 to the start of the Evo Triangle. We could always meet at the Shell petrol station on the 494?

Pedantry !! [;)]

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock I just like the B5105!
Around here we just call them the names of where they go, ie. Cerrigydrudion road [:D] I had to look up B5105 [&:] EDIT: But it is a damn good road [8D]
