Cayman R questions

ORIGINAL: El Rapido Hi all, I'm new to the club after just picking up a Cayman R.  A couple of questions: Firstly, the bucket seats - spec says leatherette surrounding the alcantara, so is obviously not real leather.  I already have Zaino leather cleaner but its probably not suitable, so I'm interested to hear what products others are using to look after the seats. Window tinting - considering going for a light tint, can anyone recommend a good shop in London.  My research so far has led me to Pentagon or Autoshades. Exhaust upgrade - I have the sports exhaust option but will be looking for something slightly louder - have others gone down this route already with the R?   I'll check the search function on here also for more info. Thanks.
I think you will find the leatherette refers to the rest of the interior and the seats are half leather/alcantara. My Spyder has full leather which means door panels and dashboard Exhausts seem to be an area where you can blow a lot of money and generally end up with something sounding a bit too loud but if I was looking to improve on the PSE I think I would look at what Tubi offer for starters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju6016XCNFc Or Fab Speed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsmRtx0SbzM&feature=fvwrel Never used them personally but have been told guardiantints.co.uk do excellent work phone 07799626620

Note that the Cayman R has a special version of the PSE, with bigger inlet pipes. If you want more sound and HP, best is to upgrade your cats to 200 cells.

Presuming you have the Porsche warranty check with the dealership before doing any mods, it could void the warranty.[:-]

Re: Exhaust. Agreed on the Wty issue. How many miles have you done, mine has only got loudish recently after 4k miles. Edited to add: with PSE.

Thanks for the info re the cats and warranty, definitely I'll confirm with the dealer on the warranty before making any upgrades. Exhaust needs some more research whether its possible to get any real horsepower gain over the factory PSE, as well as a nicer note whilst still keeping it road legal!

I wonder how many extra little "touches" the R has ? [;)]
