Worth noting that all of these test cars have PCCB's ...

Hi Chris, your Cayman R vs my Cayman S or the new one? But seriously, I think we'll have to wait and see how it drives. The new one is larger, lower, lighter and stiffer. How often are older Porsches better than newer ones? P.s. going to Oulton for the RS day on March 8th?

Yes I am, and it doesn't look like the racing Cayman S will be ready --- so will be in the R [;)]

See you there, I managed to get a place this year, looking forward to it. Let's hope those old fashioned beetles keep out of our way on the circuit. The racing Cayman S sounds interesting, what are the details?

My wheels for a stab at the Porsche Club Championship this year. Of course, I may just be very very slow [;)]

Thanks for the link OP. Will be interesting when eventually one of the car mags conduct a back-to-back evaluation of the Cayman R 987 v Cayman S 981. New evo just arrived in the post with Cayman S on the cover, looking forward to reading the review.

There is a wonderful photo of a fully loaded new Cayman --- fully loaded on the two outer wheels --- [:)]

Even more 2013 Cayman discussion, even thoughts as whether to switch from a 987 to a 981. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT2wkhg6LTQ
