Caymen versus 997 on track

Went round Bedford Autoboredrome Good Friday in Caymen. I was amazed how fast it was through the twisty bits with perfect balance and feedback. It would almost let you do anything - drift round, break well into the apex or finnish breaking early and flow round. The front and rear tyres talk to each other ! Interestingly both offside tyres similar tempreture after track session. It also seemed powerfull enough so don't understand need for more cc's - perhaps thats a road thing! Very competent car.

Then got into my 997 S and had a fight on my hands! It, understandibly, is a different prospect. Break into bend to get turn, chasis balanced, slingshot out - smile; well on 3 corners out of 12! its demanding and rewarding with grunt.

My conclusion is that the Cayman is fabulous but different to the 997(Obvious). You make your choice and lay down the cash.

Any body with driving views on Cayman versus 997?
