CD Changer Installation

OK....whilst sat at work watching Ebay I saw an auction for a brand new CD changer and optical cable for a 996 with no bids and only a few minutes left to run.....well I thought I don't have a CD changer and I am sure it is a worthwhile addition so I made the opening bid and won the auction.

Now while the package is being sent to me can anyone point me in the general direction of some installation instructions so I can read what I have let myself in for.

I was quoted over £900 by the OPC to buy and fit the changer last week but now have the parts for £350 so would rather fit myself and feel really smug when I tell the mrs that I have just saved £550 [:)] (rather than spent £350).

TIA

I have the instructions for fitting the CDC-4 if they would help. If you send me an email I will attach them to a reply.

A local 2003 (MOST) Boxster owner did it himself, but he is good at things like that. The only problem was that he had been sold the wrong fiber optic kit, and had to run over to the dealer to pic up the correct one.

Then once hooked up you need a PST2/PIWIS to tell the car that there is now a changer. But our friendly local mechanic did it for free.
